AdhyÄtmikya by Dada (Rajarshi Nandy)
Bleakness, sadness, depression, and waiting for the day when death would arrive at the door and take my soul away, that was my condition. I had always been a believer in deities and spirituality, but I never truly indulged in the realm of ÄcÄra, niyama, discipline, and sÄdhana until He happened to enter my life.
The text is fantastic, although a bit short, touching upon the essence rather than going really deep. I can understand why. If one watches Dadaās interviews, it becomes apparent that he is careful with his words, as though he contemplates before speaking.

Spiritual experience is secondary; having a soul filled with sheer will, devotion, and love for the Mother and Her creation is the true identity of a Tantra sÄdhaka. Tantra has always been seen as something "negative," "taboo," and "impure," rather than as a truly structured and method-heavy means of connecting with the deities. Western media has done a beautiful job of fetishizing this esoteric practice and boiling it down to nothing more than "sex."
Dada brought that perspective into mainstream media, speaking about things one would otherwise never hear discussed openly.
A true dūta of the esoteric arts. As he always says, or something to that effect, "Tantra will be restored to its previous glory, and the new generation will start practising it rather than being afraid of it."
The DevÄ«-DevatÄs of the Tantrika pantheon may look fierce to untrained eyes. They are fierce because, as always, the plane is filled with ignorance and heavy elements; this is precisely why forms such as these exist. The sole engine is the cutting of ahaį¹kÄra while filling the heart with love.
